Executive summary · Sections 8–11

8. Facebook & Instagram (Meta): phone-first

Organic

  • Instagram @daycarephotodownload (if not already created).
    • Bio: “Every daycare photo, in your iPhone’s camera roll. We never see your photos. One license, every device: it runs in Chrome too.”
    • Bio link: the App Store campaign link (ct=ig_bio). Nearly all Instagram viewers are on phones, and it’s the fewest taps. Put the site link in a story highlight for laptop and Android users.
    • Cadence: 3 Reels/week from the iPhone screen recording (§10). Pin the top 3.
  • Facebook Page: 2 posts/week from phone-first creatives (§14) plus COPY.md captions rewritten (below).
  • Parent groups (from ADS.md):
    • Only post where you or a real spouse or friend belongs. Follow the rules; use variant B (link in first comment) where needed.
    • One post per group.
    • Rewrite the key line from “It’s a Chrome extension…” to: “It’s an iPhone app: you log in to Procare like normal (your password never goes to them), pick your kid, and every photo lands in your camera roll. The same license also works in a Chrome version for laptops.”

Paid (keep retargeting-first)

  • Campaign “Retargeting – site visitors” (built, Off). Before turning it on: add the card, then load phone-first creatives as ads 1–3 and laptop creatives as 4–5 (§14).
  • Optimization event: Purchase fires only for Stripe (desktop) buyers. Add an AppStoreClick custom event on App Store link clicks (§12) and optimize toward it, or use Purchase + AppStoreClick as a custom conversion.
  • Do not add the Meta SDK to the app for app-install campaigns. It conflicts with your “no third-party analytics SDK” stance (USAGE-TRACKING.md). Web → App Store is the route.
  • Placements: Advantage+, but check Reels and Stories get 9:16 creative (new; see §14).
  • Turn-on trigger: ~500 visitors in 30 days or 10 purchases. Cold test (month 2, your rule): only if retargeting CTR > 1%.

3 Meta ad drafts (your angles, iPhone-first)

  1. Angle A, loss (image: higgsfield/final/ad-phone-1080.png; 9:16 version needed)
    • Primary: “When your child leaves daycare, the parent account closes and the photos go with it. Daycare Photo Download saves every photo and video, full size and dated, straight to your iPhone’s camera roll in a few minutes. We never see your photos. $19.99/year, refund any year you don’t use. (On a laptop? The same license works in Chrome.)”
    • Headline: “Every daycare photo, in your camera roll”
    • CTA: Learn more → /save-procare-photos-to-iphone?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=retarget&utm_content=a_loss_phone
  2. Angle C, ritual + calendar (image: App Store screenshot of the done screen or the “Coming up” list, app-store/screenshots/0X.png, cropped to 4:5)
    • Primary: “Daycare posts three photos Monday, a video Wednesday, a whole album on field-day Friday. Open the app once a month and it saves only what’s new to your camera roll. It also spots picture day in the teacher’s notes and adds it to your calendar with a tap. $19.99/year.”
    • Headline: “First Sunday of the month, every new photo is yours”
    • Description: “Only fetches what’s new. We never see your photos.”
  3. Angle B, share / holiday (from Nov 1; image: new phone-first share creative, i.e. the camera roll → AirDrop → Grandma text, §14)
    • Primary: “The daycare has better photos of your kid than you do. Get every one, full size and in date order, in your camera roll. Then AirDrop the whole year to Grandma or drop it into this year’s photo book. $19.99/year, refund any year you don’t use.”
    • Headline: “Every daycare photo, ready for the photo book”

Policy

  • No “Procare” in Meta headlines (MESSAGING.md §8).
  • Don’t assert personal attributes (“You’re a mom whose…”). Speak to the situation.
  • No children’s faces (your rule).
  • “Not affiliated with Procare” stays on the landing page.
